Thing on the rails.
Norfolk Southern (NSC:NYSE - commentary - research), which I consider the Johnson & Johnson (JNJ:NYSE - commentary - research) of the group. But any of the major rails -- CSX (CSX:NYSE - commentary - research), Norfolk Southern, Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNI:NYSE - commentary - research), Union Pacific -- seem to be in terrific shape as long as the dollar stays weak and oil stays high. It's taken years for all of these mergers finally to sort their way through the system in a positive way. That's after years of missed estimates and botched predictions, particularly from CSX and Union Pacific. Perhaps those woes really are behind them and we should begin to think of them as the consistent generators that we know the four rails to be in none other than the great game of Monopoly
